It is already in its third edition, and every year it consolidates as one of the main events of the end of the year program. On Monday, 12 in June, the School Sports Gala took place San Fernando, an act that recognizes the achievements made by our athletes throughout the season, and a time to share with their families the joy and satisfaction for a job well done.

This year, the gala had an exceptional guest: the director of Sports of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Ricardo Leiva. The number 2 of the COE signed in the Book of Honor of the College and participated in the delivery of the awards, in addition to encouraging our athletes to continue striving as before and embody the values of the Olympic spirit. Ricardo Leiva shared a table with the deputy director of the School, José Luis Martínez, the Councilor for Education of the City Council of Avilés, Yolanda Alonso, the president of the Asturian Judo Federation, José Ramón Díaz Maseda, the director of the Asturian Wrestling Federation, Javier Alonso, and the president of the Avilesian delegation of the Asturian Football Federation, Maximino González.
