Bruno Bernardo, from 6º C, has become the new champion of the Senior Chess Tournament for Recreation of Ed.

After prevailing in his last game, and favored by an unexpected draw at the 1 table, Bruno Bernardo has risen to the first place in the general standings with a full win. Rodrigo González and Lucas Alonso, both undefeated, accompany him on the podium half a point away. Magnificent performance of Lucia Arnanz, who with 4 points was the best of that scoring group and achieved fourth place in the general and the honor of being the best ranked girl.

They complete the pre-selected list for the following phases: Yago Mira, Iyán Castelo, Daniel Miranda, Jaime Morán, Sara Zapatero (all with 4 points) and Samuel Carballo, Mario Fidalgo and Álvaro Núñez (with 3,5 points).

In the first week of November it will be the turn of the first cycle, which with 98 participants will be the most numerous this year.
