The sub 8 and sub 10 teams of the College expected more of their participation in the tournament, but even so they tried until the end and made a great role throughout the competition.

The last day of the Championship of Asturias by school teams was not conducive for our chess partners, because two defeats deprived them of a better classification. Maybe luck has not accompanied them, but the delivery and the fight has come up to them by the ears. The eight players (four in sub 10 and four in sub 8), constantly supported by their peers, tried by all means to win their matches, but the competition has these things and not always the result corresponds to the merits.

For this reason, our representatives Sara Zapatero, Rodrigo Gonzalez, Yago Mira, Claudia Arribas, Daniela Bernardo, Iyán Castelo (in sub category 10) and Álex Labra, Bruno Gómez, Pelayo Blanco, Ángel Oliver and Luis Ávila, deserve our thanks for have represented the College perfectly and our congratulations for a position that places us among the best in Asturias.
