The athletes of the School curdle a great championship with 6 medals and 8 classified.

On Sunday 22, from 10:30 a.m., it was held at the Colegio San Fernando the zone of the Sports Games of the Principality. The 72 participants were divided into 4 tournaments separated by categories with the goal of qualifying for the final that will take place on Sunday 29 in La Corredoria. The blue tide was represented by 43 athletes who put together a great performance in general, fighting in all categories for victory and achieving a high percentage of classifications.

In the under 8 category, Sanfer occupied the podium: Rafael Serrano del Cueto was the winner, with 6 victories, followed by Nicolás Pulido Pérez and Laura Peláez Suárez. They all get a place in the final. With honey on their lips were Jimmy and Nicolás Justo, who were defeated in the last round but fought for the medals, and Mía Slama, who did not go through to the final due to having a worse tiebreaker.

In sub 10, Luís Ávila Rodríguez won the gold medal, while Carmen Peláez Fernández won the place reserved for the best girl. Hugo Justo and Yago Ibáñez were left out due to the worst tiebreaker, but they leave with the satisfaction of having played a great tournament.

In under 12, Martín Pérez Rodríguez dominated the tournament from start to finish. They were not able to beat him a real army of the San Fernando, Álvaro Ribera González and Ángel Oliver García, who completed the podium, and Rubén Zaragoza de la Campa, plus Gunnar Villanueva Fernández who won the rest of the medals and qualifying places. Adrián Castro, Bruno Gómez and David Martínez achieved the same points as the previous ones, but the tiebreaker marked the order, not the merit.

In short, 6 medals (highlighting the two golds in s8 and s10) and 8 classifieds, a complete success for our colleagues. It only remains to wish them luck for the final, where the best Asturian players will be measured.
