This Sunday has been played the last day of the Sports Games in the sports center of La Magdadalena.

Of our three participating teams, only the Sub 8 had medal options, which went on to defeat the Ecole in the first round of the day. Although the games were very even, and even some victory option was lost, little by little the points were falling from the other side and those of Lugo de Llanera deservedly took the match, and, in the end, the silver medal. A victory in the last round left our kids in the sixth position.

A sample that Caissa, the muse of chess, was not on our side was seen in the Sub 12. They finished the championship with two draws that could have been two victories, since they lost games with decisive advantages. In the end they were relegated to an unjust seventh place. Even so, this is a great team and next year for sure they will choose to win the championship.

The Sub 14 achieved its goal: flee the red lantern. In the last match they lost both matches, although nice individual victories were achieved. This is the first participation of a team of the ESO of the School and the objective, rather than sports, was to participate and gain experience for the following occasions. Surely the lessons of this tournament will serve to improve on the next occasion.
