Chess is usually a sport associated with silence, so necessary to concentrate and think about the strategy to follow. But, on occasion, this affirmation jumps through the air, as in our Chess Tournament at the Recess that started today for the students of 1º and 2º of Ed. Primaria.

It is clear that our children have powers and did not have problems to enjoy large games amid the fun and bustle of a recreation. The objective of this activity is to enjoy this sport, and the 'little ones' did it with flying colors.

And that was not a simple day. The smoke from the fires that our forests are suffering has not allowed us to see the sun, and we have preferred not to go out into the exterior patios. From the School we deeply regret the destruction (in many cases intentional) of our natural heritage, we hope that the situation will return to normal as soon as possible and we send many encouragement to all those who work to extinguish the fire in Asturias, Galicia and Portugal.
